Incorporated in 1971, Interim House was one of the first specialized treatment programs for women in the nation and continues to be the only women specific outpatient program in the city of Philadelphia. We are a private 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Health, Division of Drug and Alcohol Program Licensure and a credentialed Community Behavioral Health provider. A model for innovative substance abuse treatment for women, Interim House has been transforming lives for almost 50 years.
A New Beginning
Interim House saved my life and gave me a new beginning. Today I am living a clean and sober life. I also learned to have confidence in myself. Today I have good credit, a bank account, driver's license and car. These are things I never dreamed I could do or have.
